The third day of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project "Harvesting Hope: Tackling Food Waste" (Project No: 2024-1-IS01-KA152-YOU-000227481) focused on practical actions that individuals can take to minimize food waste. The project, coordinated by Green Behavior Youth Organization, continued to unite participants from Iceland, Portugal, Croatia, Czechia, and Türkiye around sustainable living practices.

Participants joined the "Never Waste" workshop, where they learned how to produce compost from organic waste, discovering how food scraps can be transformed into valuable natural fertilizer instead of ending up in landfills.🎉

They also collaborated during the "No Waste at Home" activity by preparing practical household guides featuring food storage techniques, meal planning strategies, creative reuse of leftovers, and sustainable shopping habits. These educational materials were designed for future dissemination to encourage responsible consumption within local communities.

The day's activities demonstrated that simple everyday actions can significantly contribute to reducing food waste and protecting natural resources.🎉
