The Endless Journey of Plastic Begins: Young People Unite for a Greener Future ♻️

Green Behavior Youth Organization proudly participated as a partner in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project "The Endless Journey of Plastic" (Project No: 2022-3-HU01-KA152-YOU-000095197), coordinated by For Renewal Environmental Association. The project took place in Budapest, Hungary, between 2–9 September 2023, bringing together young participants from Hungary, Turkey, Romania, Ireland, Slovakia, and Iceland.

The project was designed to raise awareness about the growing environmental problems caused by plastic and other waste materials while promoting recycling, sustainability, and responsible consumption. Through non-formal education methods, workshops, field visits, intercultural activities, and teamwork, participants explored practical solutions to reduce waste and protect natural resources. 🌱

Throughout the mobility, young people exchanged experiences, learned innovative recycling practices, strengthened their environmental awareness, and developed valuable competences such as communication, teamwork, leadership, intercultural understanding, and active citizenship. The project also supported the Erasmus+ priorities on environmental sustainability, climate action, and youth participation, encouraging participants to become ambassadors for positive environmental change in their local communities. 🤝
