The Erasmus+ Mobility of Youth Workers project “Climate Guardians: Youth Workers for a Cleaner Tomorrow” (Project No. 2024-1-LT02-KA153-YOU-000205187) was implemented in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 6 to 12 October 2024. Hosted by Delta Environmental Association VšĮ with the participation of the Green Behavior Youth Organization, the mobility brought together youth workers from Lithuania, Poland, Iceland, Türkiye, and Hungary to deepen their expertise in climate action and international cooperation.
The Youthpass assessment process encouraged participants to reflect on the competences they had developed throughout the project. By completing individual self-evaluations and responding to guiding questions, they gained a clearer understanding of their progress while strengthening their abilities in critical thinking, self-analysis, and personal responsibility.
A cultural exploration of Vilnius complemented the educational dimension of the mobility by providing opportunities for observation and intercultural dialogue. Experiencing the city’s heritage and everyday life broadened participants’ perspectives and reinforced the Erasmus+ values of mutual understanding and European cooperation.
Comprehensive evaluation activities invited participants to assess both the project’s outcomes and their own learning journeys. Through surveys, open-ended reflections, and structured scoring, they examined the effectiveness of the activities and consolidated their knowledge of climate change and sustainable practices, further developing their analytical and evaluative skills.
The formal presentation of certificates and the farewell gathering marked the culmination of a meaningful learning experience. Beyond acknowledging individual achievements, these moments celebrated the friendships, shared commitment, and collaborative spirit that will continue to inspire climate action long after the mobility has ended.
