The third day of "The Endless Journey of Plastic" encouraged participants to combine creativity with environmental awareness through collaborative and hands-on activities. The project, coordinated by For Renewal Environmental Association, continued to promote sustainable thinking while strengthening teamwork among young people from Hungary, Turkey, Romania, Ireland, Slovakia, and Iceland. 🌱
Participants worked together on creative workshops that challenged them to rethink waste materials and discover how everyday plastic items can gain a second life instead of becoming environmental pollution. Through role-playing, object imitation activities, group discussions, and collaborative tasks, they explored innovative ways to communicate recycling messages to wider society. These sessions demonstrated that environmental education can be engaging, interactive, and inspiring.
Throughout the day, international teams exchanged ideas about recycling practices in their own countries and discussed practical actions that young people can take to reduce plastic consumption. By sharing successful examples and local experiences, participants developed a broader perspective on sustainability while improving their communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. ♻️
The daily evaluation session allowed everyone to reflect on their learning outcomes and personal development. Participants agreed that environmental protection begins with individual responsibility, but meaningful change becomes possible when young people work together across cultures. The activities reinforced the project's mission of empowering youth to become active promoters of recycling and sustainable living within their own communities. 🌍
