After a week of inspiring learning experiences, "The Endless Journey of Plastic" successfully came to an end in Budapest, Hungary. Coordinated by For Renewal Environmental Association and implemented with the valuable partnership of Green Behavior Youth Organization and organizations from Hungary, Turkey, Romania, Ireland, Slovakia, and Iceland, the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange (Project No: 2022-3-HU01-KA152-YOU-000095197) left participants with lasting knowledge, friendships, and motivation to protect the environment. 💚

The final day was dedicated to evaluating the project, reflecting on personal learning outcomes, and celebrating the achievements of all participants. Through group discussions and feedback sessions, young people shared how the project had changed their perspectives on plastic pollution, recycling, and sustainable living. They also recognized the importance of international cooperation in addressing environmental challenges that affect communities across Europe.

Participants received their Youthpass Certificates, recognizing the competences they had developed throughout the mobility, including teamwork, communication, leadership, intercultural understanding, environmental awareness, and active citizenship. The closing ceremony celebrated not only these achievements but also the friendships and intercultural bonds created during the exchange. 🎓

Although the mobility officially ended, the project's impact continues beyond Budapest. Participants returned to their home countries committed to sharing what they had learned, encouraging sustainable practices, and inspiring other young people to reduce plastic waste and embrace more environmentally responsible lifestyles. Together, they proved that meaningful change begins with informed, motivated, and united young people working towards a greener future.
