The fourth and fifth days of "The Endless Journey of Plastic" focused on transforming environmental awareness into practical action. As part of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange (Project No: 2022-3-HU01-KA152-YOU-000095197), coordinated by For Renewal Environmental Association, participants from Hungary, Turkey, Romania, Ireland, Slovakia, and Iceland continued working together to explore innovative solutions for reducing plastic waste and promoting sustainable lifestyles. ♻️
During these days, participants took part in collaborative workshops, creative group activities, and outdoor learning experiences that encouraged them to rethink everyday consumption habits and discover practical ways to reduce waste. Through teamwork, discussions, and interactive exercises, they developed ideas for increasing recycling awareness among young people while learning how individual actions can contribute to global environmental protection. The sessions also emphasized responsible consumption, circular economy principles, and the importance of adopting environmentally friendly habits in daily life.
Another important highlight was the preparation and presentation of group outcomes. International teams shared their ideas, reflected on the knowledge they had gained throughout the week, and exchanged good practices from their respective countries. These presentations demonstrated not only their improved understanding of recycling and sustainability but also their enhanced communication, teamwork, and intercultural cooperation skills. 🌱
The combined activities of Days 4 and 5 reinforced the project's main objective: empowering young people to become ambassadors of environmental responsibility within their communities. By combining creativity, practical learning, and international cooperation, participants strengthened their commitment to protecting nature and promoting sustainable solutions for future generations.
