Green Behavior Youth Organization participated as a partner in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project “For the Better: Sustainability” (Reference No: 2024-3-HU01-KA152-YOU-000267485), which brought together young people from Hungary, Türkiye, Romania, Portugal, Latvia, and Iceland between 18–25 May 2025. The project aimed to promote sustainable lifestyles, raise awareness of environmental challenges, and encourage young people to adopt more responsible consumption habits. Through non-formal learning activities, participants strengthened their knowledge of sustainability while gaining valuable intercultural learning experiences.

Workshops focused on sustainable consumption encouraged participants to reflect on their daily purchasing and consumption habits from an environmental perspective. Through group discussions and interactive exercises, they explored how conscious consumer choices can contribute to the preservation of natural resources. These activities helped participants better understand the connection between individual actions and global sustainability goals.

Educational sessions dedicated to waste management and recycling examined different types of waste and introduced effective recycling practices. Working in teams, participants developed ideas and solutions for reducing waste and promoting the reuse of materials. The activities increased awareness of environmental responsibility and highlighted practical ways to incorporate sustainable habits into everyday life.

Creative recycling workshops provided participants with the opportunity to transform discarded materials into useful and innovative products. By engaging in hands-on activities, they discovered the value of reusing resources while expressing their creativity. The experience demonstrated that recycling is not only beneficial for the environment but can also contribute to economic sustainability and resource efficiency.

Reflection and evaluation activities allowed participants to share their learning outcomes and discuss the new perspectives they had gained regarding sustainable consumption and waste management. The sessions reinforced the importance of environmentally friendly habits and inspired participants to play a more active role in building a sustainable future through their everyday choices.
