Every Climate Action Begins with Awareness

The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project “Later” Means too Late (Project No: 2023-1-LT02-KA152-YOU-000120901), coordinated by Delta Environmental Association VšĮ with partners from Lithuania, Czechia, Iceland, Italy, Hungary, and Turkey, officially began in Vilnius, Lithuania. The project aims to increase young people's awareness of global warming, encourage sustainable lifestyles, and empower participants to become active contributors to climate action.

The first day focused on adaptation, team building, and preparing participants for the learning journey ahead. Through interactive ice-breaking activities such as the "Me With 5 Sentences" game, participants got to know each other, built trust, and established an inclusive atmosphere that encouraged intercultural communication and cooperation.

Following the introduction session, participants received a detailed presentation of the project's objectives, learning stages, safety procedures, and Youthpass process. They also explored the Erasmus+ Programme through collaborative group activities, discussing its priorities, opportunities, and contribution to youth development. 🌍

The day concluded with an engaging Youthpass workshop, where participants discovered the eight key competences through creative drawing and teamwork activities, laying the foundation for an intensive week of environmental learning and international collaboration.
