The Erasmus+ Mobility of Youth Workers project Young Guardians of Forest and Nature (Project No. 2024-1-TR01-KA153-YOU-000217026) is being implemented in Ankara, Türkiye, from 21 to 28 February 2025 under the coordination of the Chamber of Forest Engineers of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB). The project brings together the Chamber of Forest Engineers of TMMOB, KUFF Sports and Education Club, Green Behavior Youth Organization, Delta Environmental Association VšĮ, Asociația Universul Adolescenților, and Verein für Gemeinwesenarbeit und Minderheitenintegration. By developing their knowledge, skills, and experience in forest and nature conservation within an international setting, participants are strengthening their commitment to environmental sustainability.

During the Youthpass certificate completion and award session, participants reflected on and documented the competences they had acquired throughout the project. This process contributed to the recognition of non-formal learning outcomes and encouraged participants to appreciate their personal and professional growth.

The city tour of Ankara offered an opportunity to explore the region’s cultural heritage while fostering stronger social ties among participants from the partner countries. As they discovered the city’s historical and cultural richness, participants further deepened their intercultural dialogue.

The project’s final evaluation provided a comprehensive review of the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviours developed during the mobility. The feedback shared highlighted the extent to which the project objectives had been achieved and generated valuable recommendations for future environmental and youth initiatives. In this way, the project concluded on a high note, leaving behind lasting learning outcomes and promising opportunities for continued cooperation.
